Happy Halloween 2012!

We had such a fun Halloween this year! River dressed up as Captain Underpants and left super early so I wasn't able to get a picture of him...not that he would let me any way!! Ryker was a crazy Utes fan and went trick or treating with his friends. Ridger was a Yankee baseball player...Jeter to be exact. He was so excited to ride his electric scooter trick or treating. A bunch of his cute school friends asked him to go with them, but he wanted to go on his scooter fast, so thats what he did! He did our entire neighborhood and the road below us in record time! Reagan dressed up as the cutest little pirate! She was so aorable and said trick or treat at every door and "thank you"! She thought that was about the coolest thing she had ever done! So here's to another great Halloween...now bring on the HOLIDAYS!!!

Reagan goes to Nursery!

Well life isn't slowing down for anything! But I am doing my best to enjoy every sinlge minute of it! Reagan is growing up so fast, but is so darling and such a blessing for our family! Every day after school the kids come running in the house and can't wait to see her and play with her! It's like Christmas everyday! Her happy and contagious smile can brighten any room. She is such a little joy!
Yesterday she was old enough to go into the church nursey for the first time. As I expected she wasn't nervous or scared at all when I left! She gave me a huge hug and her big "MWAAHH!" with a blown kiss, then turned around excitedly to discover the new place with fun toys and friends. When I picked her up she was having so much fun playing and was so cute. As I also expected, she was not happy about leaving! She cried "baby" reaching for the baby dolls she had been playng with! The teachers said she did great! As happy as I am she is growing up and doing so many fun new things, I can not believe how old she is getting so fast. Time doesn't wait for anything, so enjoy every single minute of it! I love you Reagan!! You are such a doll and bring so many people happiness! xoxo

It's great to be 8!!

Ridger was baptized a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints this last weekend! He was so excited to be baptized and has been looking forward to this day for so long! Trevor baptized and confirmed him a member! It was such a great day! I am so proud of Ridger and the adorable boy he is! The next day in Primary they asked him how he felt after he was baptized. He answered, "WET!" Gotta love that cute kid!! Congrats Ridger on your baptism ! I am so proud to be your mommy!! xoxo

Bitter Sweet!

I am yet again amazed how quick time goes by. Today was the last time I will see Laura, Reagans birth mom for a long time. She is moving back to Texas to go to school and be with her family! I know she needs to move back and start on her new life, but I am so sad for her, and Reagan and I. I wish she could stay a little longer and watch Reagan grow! We love Laura so much and will eternally be grateful for the self-less, Christ like decision she made! It is my hope that she will quickly get into her new college life and start having tons of fun! She is an amazing young girl and will always be my hero!

Mount Rushmore and MORE!

We took a quick family vacation to Nebraska and South Dakota. We went with 6 other families and stayed in a huge house in Fort Robinson, Nebraska. The house had 2 sides. Each side had 3 levels, with 6 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, a kitchen, large dining room and large front room. The house was built in the early 1900s and was red brick with white trim and had a huge wrap around front porch (which Reagan and I spent a lot of time). The house was very old and hadn't been updated very much to keep the early 1900s feel. The fort had horses to ride, a huge indoor swim pool, a rodeo, crafts, tennis and basketball courts and a huge grassy area where the kids played football, baseball and lacrosse.

One day we traveled into South Dakota and went to Mount Rushmore. It was such an amazing day. Mount Rushmore was incredible and we had so much fun hanging out and shopping in the little town of Keystone. The kids had so much fun and the Black Hills area was so beautiful! The kids were all so good and had a blast! It was such a memroable vacation and I'm so grateful to have such great friends to travel with!
